We deliver wood pellets to homes across Southern Maryland. Each delivery requires a minimum purchase of one full pallet, which is 50 bags and one ton of pellets, enough to keep a stove running for weeks of cold weather. What We Deliver

O'Malley Power Pellets

When your pellets arrive, every bag on that pallet is O’Malley Power Pellets, a premium grade pellet fuel made from 100% hardwood that meets and exceeds PFI Premium Fuel Standards. We deliver the same product every time, wrapped and stacked, ready to burn from the first bag to the last.

$355 per Pallet

One ton, 50 bags, one price. Everything you need to heat through the cold months, sitting in your driveway. Order one pallet or stock up for the season.

$50-$75 DELIVERY FEE

One flat delivery fee based on distance from our Waldorf dock: $50 within 25 miles, $75 beyond. One trip, one charge, however many pallets you order.

How Home Delivery Works

Order online, we bring the pellets to your driveway.

Step 1: Place Your Order

Order online or call the shop. Tell us how many pallets and your delivery address, and you are done. The minimum is one pallet, which is 50 bags and one ton of pellets.

Step 2: We Route You In

Your delivery joins the week’s runs on trucks that already cover your county. These are our routes and our drivers, not a courier we hand you off to.

Step 3: The Truck Arrives

The usual turnaround is 48 hours, and we confirm before we roll. We place the pallet in your driveway or up to your garage door where the truck can safely reach. Inside placement is never included. It is a box truck and a pallet jack, not a hand-carry crew, so plan for the pallet to land outside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the delivery truck fit in my driveway?

Chesapeake Wood Pellets delivers on box trucks, and most driveways in Southern Maryland handle them fine. If the truck cannot safely reach your driveway, we place the pallet at the closest safe spot the equipment can get to. When you order, let us know anything unusual about your access and we will plan around it.

Can you put the pellets in my garage or basement?

Home delivery is curbside only, which means the pallet lands outside at your driveway or garage door. We use a box truck and a pallet jack, and that equipment does not fit through a doorway. The bags come wrapped on the pallet and stay dry until you bring them in a few at a time.

When will my order arrive?

The usual turnaround is 48 hours from order to delivery, and we confirm your delivery before the truck heads out. We cannot promise a specific time of day, but you will know your delivery day before we roll.

Do I need to be home for pellet delivery?

For most deliveries, you do not need to be home. As long as your driveway is accessible and we know where to leave the pallet, the driver will place it and go. If you are paying by cash or check on delivery, someone does need to be there to handle payment. Orders placed online are paid in advance, so no one needs to be home for those.

How much does wood pellet home delivery cost?

Chesapeake Wood Pellets charges a flat delivery fee based on distance from our Waldorf dock. Deliveries within 25 miles are $50, and deliveries beyond 25 miles are $75. The fee covers the full trip, however many pallets you order. Pellets are $355 per pallet, and full pricing is on our order page.
