Owned by the Elbert family, the same family behind Chesapeake Ice, which grew from a small local operation into one of the DMV’s top ice suppliers over 25 years. Wood pellets are our second business, built on the same thing the first one was: dependable delivery, and customers who count on us.

The cold months are pellet season. Launched in 2026, Chesapeake Wood Pellets puts that same fleet and delivery network to work, delivering wood pellets to homes and businesses across Southern Maryland.
